The "News" of Invercargill says: — "Mot only is McEwen a clever hypnotist, conjurer, mind reader, and mirael? worker, but he possesses the art of .speaking in a flow of dry Scotch humour which is irresistible. This wonderful man during his stay in Invercargill travelled over 2000 miles and attended over 500 therapeutic the niaporUy of which were successful. This morning at the Municipal Theatre the Great McEwen demonstrated wh';v might be termed <• modern mince. Mrs W. Sangster, of East Invercargill, who for eight years had to use crutches and was four years in a wheeled chair, was made to walk down Dee Street without any whatever. .She afterwards walked to her home with the greatest of ease '' The Great McEwen is the world-famous Scottish .entertainer, who will apoear in the Whangarei Town Hall on Wednesday night. Seats for the entertainment should be booked at Chissell's. There is no extra charge for booking.
