SUSPICIOUS CONDITIONS,
WARNING TO SHIPPING. Mr Clement L. Wragge telegraphed to the "Advocate" at & a.m. to-day as follows: — Forecast for three days.—A tropical disturbance is between Cape Brett, Lord Howe Island and the The course of its travel is not yet detorminedy but it may sweep south over North Auckland, causing easterly to northerly weather, with rain and rising seas. Shipping is cautioned of the suspicious conditions. Should it veer off then the weather will be fair to cloudy.
BUREAU PREDICTION
The Weather Bureau reports as follows for 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day.— The indications are for easterly winds, strong to gale. Expect warm unci humid conditions. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain following. Barometer falling. Tides good and sea moderate on the ccast.
