MISS RAPPE'S INJURIES

Dr. Rigden gave expert opinion at the Arbuckle trial that an injury like Miss Rappe's might be caused (by vomiting, coughing or sneezing. witness reluctantly admitted that, while he had not heard of such cases himself, internal injury could be caused by the sudden placing of a person in cold water.—A. and N.Z.
