AT AUCKLAND SHOW. NORTHERN FACTORIES PROMINENT. AUCKLAND, This Day. The Auckland A. and P. 'Show was opened by the Governor-General to-day in perfect weather. A feature of the ihow is the butter and cheese exhibit, valued at about £500,000, comprising 36 exhibits from the province and the King Country. In the opinion of the judge the average quality is very high, being practically -superfine.
In butter the Whangarei Dairy Com}-any was first with 95J points; Waipu and Hikurangi, each 95; Pio Pio, Arifi, Northern Wairoa, Tuakau < and Frankton Junction No. I, 941; Raglan, Pukekohe, Rotorua, Whangarei, Oroua, Fairturn,' Kaitaia and Clevcdton, 94 ea>ch; Kaipara 93i; Bay of Plenty, 93; Paeioa, Frankton No. 2, Otorohanga, Kpitieke, Katikati, Glynn and Ambury's Ltd., 92-1; Waiuku, 91$; Waimana, 90.
Ir. cheee the first prize-winner is Horsham's Dairy Company, with 945; Talua, 93*; Brentwiood, 93; New Zealand Co-op. and Alee Ake, 925; Goraonton, 92.—Press Assn.
