STRAIGHT ISSUES PROPOSED.

The Premier introduced a comprehensive Liquor Bill providing that license fees be computed at 8 per cent, on the gross cost in preceding years; a liquor poll to be taken in 1924 on the single issue of no license against continuance, and subsequent polls triennially Where no license is carried the single issue at next poll is to bq restoration.—A. and N.Z.
