EXHIBITS TO AUCKLAND,

ARRANGEMENTS LOCALLY

Yesterday some exhibits of stock from the Whangarei district, including some fine Jerseys from Ihe herds of MrRowland Hill, of Tangihua, and Mr C. Stevens, of Maungatapere, were for warded to Auckland to be exhibited at the Auckland Show. The same boasts will be competitors at the Whangarei Show on Wednesday and Thursday next. It appears probable that the trade exhibits at the Whangarei Show will be more extensive and of a wider variety this year than formerly, and as the allocation of space for the stands | will require an amount of consideration, 'the secretary, Mr B. Harris, announces the fact that all applications for space for trade stands must be lodged by noon on Tuesday; after that hour none w r i!l be granted. Stock owners have 'been apprised of ■the iect that Dalgety's junction yards and ithe Farmers' Co-operative yards at Kanio have been made availa-ble for holding stock travelling to -the showground. Country visitors from northwards should note that ithe usual 3.20 p.m. train from Whangarei to Opua, will be delayed in departure next Thmnsday afternoon until 5.30 p.m. It will reach Hukerenui <at 7.5 p.m., Maromaku at 7.35 p.m. and Kawakawa at 9.10 p.m.
