In the House of Representatives the Tariff Board Bill '3 third reading was carried by 28 votes to 9, after, an amendment, had been carired against the Ministry by 22 votes to 21 providing machinery to deal with manufacturer? refusing to trade with small retailers. The Senate debate on the Tariff Bill was adjourned till Tuesday: —A. and N.Z.
