NAURU PHOSPHATE
FIRST SHIPMENT COMING
ABUNDANT SUPPLIES EXPECTED
(Special Correspondent) WELLINGTON, This Day. Asked for information regarding Nauru Island phosphate, Mr Massev said the first shipment was- now on the way. The supplies would be abundant for tiie Dominion's needs. The landed cost of crude phosphate would be about £4 5s per ton and the cost of grinding would be about 12s per ton. He believed much of it would be u?>cd direct after being ground fine.
