PROFITEERS' FINES
TO BE REMITTED. # IMPOSTS UNCONSTITUTIONAL. ((Received 10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 27. The Supreme 'Court has declared unconstitutional certain provisions of the Lever Law by which profiteering is punishable. The Federal- Government will thus be compelled to make restitution of 100,000 dollars in fines collected from.merchants who were convicted of -charging high prices for various commodities, principally food and clothing.—Reuter.
