BOWLING
DOMINION TOURNAMENT
ARRANGEMENTS CRITICISED
WELLINGTON, This Day.
A meeting of delegates of the vari. ous bowling centres and the Dominion Council last night discussed a protest from the Canterbury centre which reads: "That this centre protests against the arrangements made by the Dominion Council for the playing of the tournament necessitating such an inordinate extension of time for completion of the tournament." During the discussion which followed it was suggested that rinks' matches and pairs and singles' matches be separated, and it was decided to ask the centres for a expression of opinion.
The question of appointing a permanent secretary was also discussed and it was decided to place the suggestion before the centres.—Press Assn.
