SUNDAY SCHOOL, ANNIVERSARY
Very successful Sunday School anniversary services were held in connection with the Whangarei corps last Sunday. The scholars, under the able tuition of Mr C. Neeve, rendered special anniversary hymns at all the services. Adjutant and Mrs Glanville and other speakers delivered suitable address. On Monday evening a very special programme was given by the, children befor e a large and appreciative audience. The programme consisted of special hymns, dialogues, recitations, solos, floral marche, "etc. At the close of the programme about 80 Sunday School prizes were distributed to the children. •During the evening Adjutant Glanville gave some statistics showing a considerable increase of scholars, and also reported that quite a number of young people had professed Christ as their Saviour. He| thanked Mrs Johns (who has charge | of the Sunday School work) and all j the Sunday School workejs for j labours during the year, and also Mr Neeve and all who had laboured to make th e anniversary so successful.
