' The government Meteorologist reports as follows, for 24. hours from 9 a.m. to-day:— The indications are for freshening northerly winds, strong to gale. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Heavy rain is to be expected. The barometer is falling. The seas are rough and tides high on the coast.
