Official telegrams from Kovno report severe fighting between Kovno and Vilna. The Poles attacked with large forces, using armoured trains. There were heavy losses on both sides.
The message adds that mobilisation is proceeding in Vilna and rtha't drafts have been sent to the Polish zone at Lida.
Presumably the Poles mentioied ere Zeg'lignowski's troops who -we. thus conducting an offensive against Lithuania. —Reuter.
