WHANGAREI ASSOCIATION
MEETING.
At an executive meeting of the Whangarei Cricket Association last night, presided over by Mr. A. Drever and also attended by Messrs. E. McLean, H. Hawke, G. Christenson, Pindlay, E. Whimp, McAlister and C. J. Broomfield the competition draw was effected.
Four clubs, Marsden. Whangarei, Onerahi and Mangapai, hav e entered the lists, High School having dropped out owing to pending examinations- It was decided that in future all games should last over two playing days.
The association intends to send a team on tour to Mangonui to secure a return match in Whangarei as part of-a t triangular contest between the Northern Wairoa, Mangonui and Whangarei association's representatives.
The Auckland suburban representatives will visit Whangarei at Christmas-time and at Easter the local representatives will take part in a triangular contest in Auckland between Waikato. Whangarei and Auckland.
