A GOOD SEASON ENDED

Tho. music xor the latter was played by -viisses l. ibpencer and Wilcox and by jiessrs A. (Jotterill, it. Dent and Ray (Joodisoii, while Mrs McLennan ana Messrs WaiKer, Mason, iand IJryant uispeinsed pieaaiiig , melody for the regular dances. The promoters had made special eti'orts 'to secure provjsion oi a good supper and their reliance upon the ladies in that respect was fully rewarded, as was indicated by the variety and daintiness oi the many good things spread ion the supper tables. The latter were on the stage iand the decorative effect was ably -carried out upon a base oi me Club's colours and wihite. Tlxe arrangement which permitted of 15U guests being seated at one time worked admirably, .the general opinions expressed being very flattering to the ladies who supplied the eda)ble* and to the executive.

Opportunity was seized by Mr A. C. Bourgeois, * who in conjunction with Mor P. Campbell, acted as M.C., to present Mrs McLennan, the piaatiste, with a. suitably inscribed teapot m <a memento said mark of appreciation from the club for hor abie support of the socials. As Mi Bourgeois remarked, a great ideal of the success of the series of socials was tnaceatole to Ith© patrons' appreciation of the excellent dance music invariably provided 'by Mrs McLen■nan.

The ladies the Kia Toa Clwb must b-e congratulated upon their enterprise in undertaking and ©arryiug through itihe popular series of socials to so successful a cliniax as last night's, and it will be the wash of the dance-loving public. that they shall carry them on lagaan next winter.
