The North Taranaki Hunt Club (totalisator) meeting was held yesterday in showery weather, which adversely affected the attendance. The following were the results: —
Hunters' Flat Handicap, one mile and a quarter. —Tornea, 11.5, 1; Encircle, 10.9, 2; Lockson, 10.9, 3. Won by a head. Time—2.2B.
Urenui Hack Handicap, six furlongs. —Warrawee, 9.2, 1; Karaeao, 10.2, 2; Hallow, 10.6, 3. Won by a length and a half. Time—l.2l.
Ladies' Bracelet Steeplechase, two miles.—Te Toa, 11.12, 1; Applaud, 11.3, 2; Cordon, 10.0, 3. Won by twenty lengths. Time —4.15. Stratford Handicap, six furlongs.— Egmont Park, 9.12, 1 Scrap o' Paper, 10.2, 2; Tiranga, 9.2, ?,. Won by a nose. Time —1.20. Hunt Cup Steeplechase, three miles. —Papatere, 10.7, 1 Camp Guard, 11.10, 2; Aro 10.7, 3. Won by half a length. Time—s.2o. Waihi Handicap, seven furlongs.— Piropiro, 9.12, 1; Riki, 9.0, 2; Quiniro, 9.8, 3. Won by half a length. Time —1.36 2-5. Lepperton Hunters' Hurdles, one mile and a half.—"White Ranger, 9.6, 1; Royal Park, 10.1.1, 2; Tomoa, 9.5, 3. Won by a length. Time—3.l4.
