Ualgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows on their fat stock sale aWestfield.—
Beef.—Good yarding, prices slightly firmer than last week. Extra prime ox, £3 Is, prime £2 18s to £2 13s, second quality, £2 5s to 38s; prime cow £2 15s to £2 10s, others £2 to 355.
Sheep.—A medium yarding. Extra prime wethers £2 lis; prime £2 9s 6d to £2 2s; ewes, prime £2 2s to 355, others 33s to 28s.
'Calves.—Big yarding with a steady demand. Runners, £10 to £6 10s; vealers, £5 to 50s; others, 30s to Bs.
Pigs.—A small yarding; good sale. Baconers, £9 to £7 10s; choppers, £7 10s to £6; porkers, £5 10s to £4; stores, £4 10s to 30s.
