The young native, Wiremu Pita, who is under arrest, on a charge that at.Mokau he murdered Dougles Piripi, and who has been held in Mt. Eden gaol, came before Mr. Wilson, S.M., and was remanded to appear at Whangarei next Tuesday.—Press Assn.
