PERSONAL.
The Minister of Justice announces that Mr A. M. Mowlem, of Auckland, has been appointed to the Magistrate' 3 Bench, and probably will be stationed in the South Island.
Mr George Macnamara, who has been acting-chief inspector of Post offices for the past few weeks, has been appointed assistant secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department in succession to Mr G. B. Dall, who has retired.
