THE INDUSTRIAL FUTURE.
"White-fields" is a famous London church named after the great George Whitcfiold. Among tie many activities carried on in this famous church, probably one of the most important is the Men's Meeting. Thin meeting is nothing if not up to date. The leaders seek to keep the men in touch with the important questions o: the day by inviting leading men and women to deal with them from their different points of view. During Gome months special attention has been given to that all-important subject—The Industrial Future. On eight successive Sundays different aspects of the question were dealt with by the following speakers: — Dr. Clifford. Mr G. J. Wardle, M.P., the Kl. Hon. Lord Leverhulme, Mr A. Lyle Samuel. M.P., Miss Maude Roydou, Mr Frank Hodges, Mr J. A. Seddon, C.H., M.P., and the Eev. S. Maurice Watts, H.!).. Superintendent of Whitofields.
The addresses, which were given to very large audiences, were received with keen appreciation. Numerous requests were made that they should be published. And in the belief that they may help a wider circle as they have already helped those who were privileged to hear them, they havo now been issued in volume form.
