Lord Milner has appointed a committee to consider whether the staff of the Agricultural Department's colonial services is adequate, and if necessary to recommend increases of the staff; also whether the rates of salary are adequate, and to make recommendations to improve arrangements for recruiting staffs for the colonies. —A. and N.Z.
