The Shaw Savill's three new liners are nearing completion. The company expect to despatch the Tairoa in February, and the Maimoa and Matakana by May.
The Commonwealth - Dominion Liner' s Caroline is expected to sail in December, and the Port Curtis in January. Th e Port Adelaide is nearly completed, and the Port Kembla will be launched shortly.
Harland and Wolff have commenced the construction for the Aberdeen White Star Line of a fifteen-thou-sand-tonner, a sister ship to the Euripides.—A. and N.Z.
