BREEZY WELLINGTON MEETING
WELLINGTON, This Day. The Returned Solders' Association had another lively meeting. A motion was ruled out that the association refrain from participation in the Parliamentary elections, as the rule 3 already provided for this. A notice of motion by J. that the Wellington Association cancel its affiliation with the national executive, on account of the president, Dr Boxer, telegraphing to the premier "in terms which show him to be disloyal to the returned soldiers and opposed to their interests," was received, and on the motion of W. Perritt it was decided not to grant permission t 0 McKenzie to move it. — Press Assn.
