THE JELLICOE REPORT,
CONSIDERABLE AUGMEN

(Received 8 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 2. It is stated that Admiral Jellicoe's report recommends the maintenance of eight battle cruisers, besides addiional increases in cruisers, destroyers, and submarines.
The scheme will develop yearly until 1923, when the annual expenditure will be five millions.
It is understood that Admiral Jellicoe informed the Government chat the Admiralty was prepared to provide the Commonwealth with many vessels of the various classes required—A. and N.Z.
