LOADING' OPERATIONS BEGUN.

The watersiders refused to load potatoes into the Manuka dady. The matter was referred to t the local Disputes Committee without result, and the wharfies refused | again yesterday to load produce. It is stated that the men's attitude is one of protest against the export of potatoes to Sydney. Jii the afternoon, hoiwever, tihey changed their /jninds and began to put the produce aboard. —Press Assn.
