COAL COMMANDEER.
THE COMMONWEALTH DECISION
DOMINION UN AFFECTED
WELLINGTON, This DAY
In connection with the recent announcement that the Commonwealth Government had decided to commandeer all the coal in Australia, and that regulations had been issued empowering the Government to control the sale and distribution, the Hon. A. M. Mvers, Minister in Charge of the Coal Trade Regulations here, states that as far as he can judge the Dominion's trade from Newcastle will be in no way detrimentally affected, as it is not anticipated that the output from the mines will be reduced. —Press Assn.
