EDUCATION IN SEX HYGIENE.

To-night a unique opportunity is being offered to the youth and men of this district to become acquainted through the medium of an illustrated lecture by Dr. Pettitt, Major N.Z.M.C, with the factors and problems of tho sex question. No greater or more important subject comes under the range of acquired knowledge than this, affecting as it does the harmonious development of the pupil's humanity. The knowledge as above stated becomes acquired sooner or later by every youth who reaches the developmental stage, and if such acquirement does not come from the proper sources and in the most enlightened manner it is picked up from the garbage of impure minds. Parents must know that their sons are destined to find out all about the law governing the reproduction faculties; hence the appeal to give the opportunity of hearing from the lips of a doctor, the accredited lecturer to the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces and in the employ of the New Zealand Defence Department, the story of reproduction in a form acceptable to the minds of the most critical. Dr. Pettitt lectured in the Town Hall of Auckland and in the Strand Picture Theatre with stirring effect to houses that were crowded to the doors and in the interests of the manhood of this district it is to be hoped that the Whangarei Town Hall to-night will be filled. There is no admission fee.
