COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS' CONCERT.
A FINE PROGRAMME
Musical enthusiasts have given it as their opinion that the programme arranged by the Commercial Travellers for their hospital concert tomorrow night is the best yet offered by them to a Whangarei public. This is going a long way, when we come to look back upon the long list of excellent entertainments which have been given. But the belief is strengthened by the well-recognised determination of the travellers to go "one better" each year, not only in the financial results achieved, but in the merit of their performances. Year by year the line figures upon the cheque butts have shown what the travellers have been able to pay over to the hospital, and year by year the crowded houses which greet the concert illustrates the growing appreciation of the high musical standard attained. Booking for tomorrow night is such as to indicate v record gathering.
