A MISTAKE CLEAEED UP.

Sir,—ln your last night's issue lam credited with having sent a letter to Dr. Frazefhurst re the chicken-pox epidemic. i have hot sent any letter at all to the doctor, but at the last meeting of the school committee I moved a resolution which was seconded and carried unanimously by the members, that a letter be sent re the epidemic which was gaining ground, and I understand our. secretary (Mr Hopewell) wrote, and I suppose my name was mentioned as the mover of the resolution and this is how the mistake has occurred. —I am, etc.,
