RUSSIA WILL MAKE REPRISALS.

PETROGRAD, November 30
General Trepoff, the Premier, has sent a message to Mr Asquith, n(firming the indissoluble friendship which exists between Russia and Great Bri tain as the result of blood shod in a i-oiiiiiion cause. The appointment of the new Minister for Agriculture is regarded as the first step towards a business Cabinet composed of specialists, able to work in agreement with the Duma. The Government has protested to the Central Powers against the compulsion of Russian Polish subjects to serve in the Polish army. The new War Minister has informed Austria and Germany that unless barbarities to Russian prisoners cease, Hogging will be included among the punishments to Austro-Gorinan prisoners.
