NEW YORK, December 1
M. M. Beyers and Dewart, Belgian Ministers, in a cable to the Belgian Consul in the United States say that deportations are being continued and no distinction is shown between employed and unemployed. The deported people will soon number 100,000, who have been gathered and transported with great brutality. Railwaymen are especially sought. The Germans are multiplying their requisitions for machinery and tools, thus stopping industry and increasing the unemployed. When the incredible outrage is known civilisation will protest against the horrible crime against humanity.
