in '.':■<: -par future in connection wiiii me pacification of Europe. The words are interpreted as confirming the report that the Netherlands had accredited M. Regout with a view to supporting the Pope's initiative of peace and also inviting the Pontiff to send a delegate to the peace conference which will probably be held at the Hague.
