(Press Assn.—Reed. 10.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 20. f A steamer has arrived with a big * consignment of American wheat, but- "' : ter, cheese and fodder and this has somewhat relieved the famine in these commodities.
Giving evidence before the Commodities Commission in favour of an increase in the price of oatmeal, Mr Scott, manager of Parson's Bros.,
stated foreign oats showed a forty per centum more husk and waste and also ten per centum more dust and rubbish than New Zealand.
