COMMANDING HEIGHTS TAKEN.
ENEMY REINFORCED
DESPERATE STRUGGLE CONTINUES. (Received 9 a.m.) ATHENS, May 7. The Allies captured the heights facing the Suandere fort. The Allies are advancing steadily; They are devoting their attention to the section between Gabatepe and Seddul Bahr. The Turks have been reinforced by a division and desperate fighting is in progress. The Allies are endeavouring to prevent the reinforcements junctioning with the other Turkish forces. The losses on both sides are heavy.
