MR J. R. BLAIR

WELLINGTON, November 25
The death is announced of Mr John Rutherford Blair, local director of the New Zealand Shipping Company; chairman of the Paparoa Coal Company, the Wellington" Investment Company, and Turnbull and Jones; director of the Wellington Company, the Wellington Investment Company, and E. W. Mills and Company; ex-Mayor, and member of the Larbour■-Board; ex-chair-man of the .'Ban!.- of New Zealand. His dc;:th occurred this morning, after a long illness. Deceased was 71 years of age.
