iMr J. M. Meniiie has resigned the chairmanship of the Hospital Board as a protest against the boa/rd's excision to "rovide.heating by steam in preference to electricity, stating that he regarded the resolution as a vote of censure upon the architect and the engineer, who strongly advised electric heating. The architect had previously stated that the contract fqr electric flighting included the ins.a!lation of heating by electric radiators. Members of the board denied that such authority was given.
