HIBERNIAN ENTHUSIASM.
IRELAND AND BELGIUM COUPLED,
LONDON, Sept. 14
There was an enthusiastic scene outside Westminster Cathedral on Saturday afternoon. Cardinal Meruer, in blessing a procession of 50,000 London Irishmen and Irishwomen, etood between Messrs Redmond and O'Connor.
After the blessing he raised his ■hand and cried: "God save Ireland!"
This was the signal for fresh cheering, the crowd shouting: "God save Belgium!"
