RECEPTION AT HASTINGS. Telegraph.—Press Association. HASTINGS, May 18. General Si r l an Hamilton had a hearty public reception on his arrival on Saturday afternoon, and was presented with an illuminated address expressive of his valuable services to the Empire in actual warfare, in administration, and in literature. The review of the cadets was spoiled by rain.
