NEW YORK, Oct. 6
Henry Spencer, arrested on a charge of murdering Mrs Rexroat at Wheaten, Illinois, confessed to thir"teen other murders in as many years.
The victims included two policemen, shot to escape arrest, and a number of women killed for their jewellery and money. The accused admitted that he intended to kill his landlady.
Spencer was released from the Illinois penitentiary last year, since when some of his crimes were committed.
