At to-day's wool sales the following prices were realised for the fleece portions of the clips named:—"Farndale," top 25d, average 22% d; "Pare," liy 2 d, 10% d; "Ira," ll%d, ll%d.
At to-day's wool sales there were a few withdrawals of speculators' lots, but firm, keen competition for all classes. To date 130,567 bales have been catalogued, and 116,289 sold. "Waipoao," 12y 2 d, average lid; "Aranui," 12d, average 10% d: "Xgakonui," 13d, average ll%d; "Tanatahi," average 12% d.
Hemp.—Dull of sale. "Good fair," 'October-December shipments, £29 per ton.
Kauri Gum.—The stock in hand consists of 486 cases.
Sheep.—Southalnd, 4%d; North Island, best, 4 7-16 d.
