SUNDAY EVENING AT WESTMINSTER ABBEY.
The Sunday evening service at Westminster Abbey now might almost be described as a hymn . service. On a recent Sunday it began with "Jesu, Lover of my Soul," followed by the Apostles' Creed, the Lord's Prayer and Collects. Then came "O Lord, how Joyful 'tis to See," and the Lesson. Before the Dean's sermon "For Ever with the Lord" was sung and after it "Abide with me."
