AUCKLAND, Oct. 4. Mr W. Blomfield leit for Wellington by train at midday to answer the writ served on\ him for alleged contempt of court in respect to publishing a caricature of Mr Justice Edwards. Mr Blomfield, in a motorcar, was escorted by the Garrison Band and a large crowd through Queen Street to the station, where a gathering of about 1500 persons gave him an enthusiastic send-off. ) The case in which W. Blomfield and W. J. Geddis are called upon to answer a charge of contempt of court before the Supreme Court at dPWellington on Tuesday next. Mr T. Cotter, K.C., will appear for Mr, Blomfield, and Sir John Findlay, K.C., and Mr Skerrett, K.C., will appear for Mr Geddis/
