THE DIESEL PATENTS.
LONDON, Oct. 2
The Berlin correspondent of the "Daily Mail" states that a week ago Herr Diesel, the inventor of the oil engine, who disappeared from a steamer while travelling to England, bequeathed to the Munich Museum a valuable drawing and documents relating to his patents.
Herr Diesel had amassed half a million in a few years from the sale of his patents. He had practically retired from active business eight years ago, and took no prominent part in the affairs of the Diesel Company.
