NEW SOUTH WALES POLITICS.
AN ALL-NIGHT SITTING
SYDNEY, Oct. 3
The House of Assembly, sitting throughout the night, continues the discussion of the Morton-Griffiths railway loan scheme which is meeting with strong opposition, indicating that it will be rejected.
Mr Holman (Premier), in a lukewarm speech, declared he was not going to ask the House to approve, but if it approved, the Government intended to get a special side scheme
settled before the House accepted it early in the session.
Mr Wade called the Premier's attention to his attitude with regard to the Wade-Griffith Royal Commission and asked if he would re-open the matter so as to include the Medlow charge.
Hot passages of arms and uproar followed, ending in Mr Holman demanding notice of Mr Wade's question.
Interviewed later, Mr Holman declared he had no intention of letting Mr Wade escape from the situation or calumny into which he had plunged nimself by his heroics and mock martyrdom.
