DEADLY POSTAL PARCEL.
LETTER SORTER KILLED, LONDON, Sept. 6. Thomas Collier, a letter sorter dropped a parcel in the bin at Victoria Station, Manchester, when it exploded. Collier was killed and several letter sorters were injured. Investigation disclosed that the parcel contained explosive corks used as starters at athletic meetings.
