SMUGGLING-IN ORIENTALS.
DISCOVERY BY CHICAGO DETECTIVES. ALLEGED UNDERGROUND RAILWAY. NEW YORK, Sept. 6. Chicago detectives in unravelling a Chinese murder discovered an alleged underground .railway for smuggling Chinese into British Columbia, the United States and Mexico the ramifications extending throughout the Pacific Coast. Hundreds of Orientals are believed to have thus gained entrance.
