IXVERCARGILL, Sept. 8
Recently a resident of Stewart Island shot a fin© specimen of red kaka, rwhich was secured by the Otago Museum. The sequefl happened in court to-day, when the man was fined £2 and costs for having native ■game unlawfully in his possession.
