CAPTAIN CAUNCE GETS LEAVE
TO APPEAL
WELLINGTON, Sept. 6
The Minister of Marine (Hon. F. M. B. Fisher), after further consideration of the matter, has granted Mr Myers, counsel for Captain Caunce, of the wrecked steamer Devon, leave to have a re-hearing of the Devon case. The re-hearing will probably be before a Supreme Court judge and two assessors.
