WEST'S PICTURES.
A splendid programme of all-round merit will be screened this evening at the Lyceum Cinema. "The Tomtit" is a beautifully coloured bird study. The topicals include the Pathe Gazette and "Ancient Greece." The feature drama is "The Adventures of an Italian Model," a beautiful Vitagraph photo play. The other dramas comprise "The Trade Gun Bullet" (by Selig), "The Pony that Paid the Rent," "Hepworth," a-ndi "Captain Barnacles' Waif." The comedy portion of the programme comprises "Popular Betty," "Wiffles' Anonymous Letter," "Weary Starts Things in Punkerville," and the splendid comedy "Well Matched." On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next "Skipper Francis," who has this week been delighting audiences at the Royal Albert Hall, Auckland, will be in Whangarei to lecture on his great sporting picture of his swim of the Bristol Channel. "Skipper Francis" has a great reputation as an entertainer.
