DESTRUCTIVE GALES.
NEW YORK, Sept. 3. A severe storm is sweeping tie coast of Virginia. The former Dominion liner M©»jack i 3 reported to have sunk. Eigßt of the crew and several passengers are missing. A launch belonging to the battleship Nebraska was overwhelmed. Three petty officers and five men were drowned. Several schooners have been WTeeßed with slight loss of life.
